Notary & Signing Services
Three ways to get your documents signed and notarized in the Greater Richmond Metro — mobile, traditional, and remote online — all handled with the same standard of precision and confidentiality.
Mobile Notary
I come to you — home, office, hospital, senior living facility, or closing table — anywhere in the Greater Richmond Metro area, including Hanover County, Richmond, Henrico County, Chesterfield County, Mechanicsville, and Ashland.
Mobile appointments are common for real estate closings, powers of attorney, advance medical directives, and any signing where travel isn't practical for the client. A travel fee is disclosed and agreed upon before the appointment is confirmed — there are no surprise charges added afterward.
Traditional Notary
In-person, paper notarization by appointment. This is the standard option for individuals and businesses that can meet directly — acknowledgments, jurats, affidavits, and other notarial acts on physical documents, at the Virginia statutory rate.
Remote Online Notarization (RON)
Secure, recorded online notarization via the NotaryCentral platform, using IdenTrust digital credentialing to verify signer identity. RON is available to anyone physically located in Virginia at the time of signing, and sessions are recorded and retained as required under Virginia law.
A typical RON session covers one notarial act for one signer in about 15-20 minutes, start to finish, and works well for documents that don't require in-person presence — powers of attorney, affidavits, and many real estate documents where the underlying transaction allows it.
Loan Signing & Real Estate Document Support
Loan signing and real estate document packages are available in coordination with a licensed settlement agent. Ferguson Signature Services provides notarial and signing support only — I do not provide legal advice, select or prepare legal documents, act as a settlement agent, or receive, hold, or disburse closing funds.
